  Elaine Viken, 86, of Mayville, ND died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND. Elaine Margaret Viken was born December 31, 1931 in Mayville, ND the daughter of Alvin and Mildred Domier. Elaine was confirmed in Bethany Lutheran Church rural Hatton, ND and graduated from Mayville High School in 1951. Elaine worked various jobs out of high school and worked for a dentist office in Mayville and also St. Lukes Hospital in Fargo, ND. On March 20, 1955 she married Daniel Viken at Bethany Lutheran church rural Hatton, ND. They had 4 children and farmed near Hope, ND and later years she worked at Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND. Elaine was a member of Perry Lutheran Church and was involved with the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren and her great grand-children. She is preceded in death by her husband: Daniel; her parents; 2 brothers: Wayne Domier and David Domier; 1 sister: Ione Thuen; 2 brothers-in-law: Harold Thuen and Merle Kyllo. Blessed be the memory of Elaine Margaret Viken.
